visit that mesa grille's website, click on private parties. it mentions that there is a "private balcony overlooking the resturant which can cater up to 50 people"
that being said, you are a group of 30ish people. more than half the resturant. chances are, a reservation for that size, at prime dinner time, will require you setting a time, and calling in the reservation very soon. possible even a deposit.

dont underestimate the size of your group and how crowded it will be.

alright i spent the past few days calling around & having my girlfriends sister search around in Manhattan b/c shes the catering chairman for Sardies in Times Square. What were founding out is a "sit down" place for dinner for the expected number were shooting for is just not realistic. If we do find a place that is willing to serve our numbers, then plan on having a bill in the high hundreds, also keeping in mind 90% of the places were dealing with require a 18% mandatory gradituity fee to your bill. Even her resturant Sardies were looking at a bill close to or more then $1,000, same goes to Michael Jordans resturant, Bobby Fley

Im calling around and what im looking at is the ESPN zone, Hard Rock Cafe and a few others. Im calling around as we speak and looking online, honestly i do not see any type of sit down 5 star resturant being feasible for this event

well espnzone and hardrock in time square are overpriced and its not much cheaper than most restaraunts.

ESPN Zone would be more active and in the heart of things and no where near as expensive as MJs or Fleys resturant. Even South Street Seaport direct on the water im looking

i can probably speak for more then just myself.........funds are limited & i kinda wanted to walk away NOT blowing my entire paycheck on food.......seeing NYC in its whole is more important then dumping a weeks pay on dinner IMO

theres gonna be 30-50 people, your not gonna please everyone. We dont have to fit 30-50 people in ONE hot dog stand or corner deli, everyone can eat what they want, where they want. Im not concerned about lunch as im with dinner, i'd like dinner to be a entire gathering with everyone and just BS together. Lunch is just a pick me up until later that night
