as a former 8th gen member... i am appauled at this masquerade... and im really happy i sold my si and bought an s2000... for some reason the moderators on this site are real tight a$$'s... we never had a problem on s2ki enjoying the company of other cars/people at our meets... (keep in mind im sure 5 s2000's outta your 150 si's isnt going to make a difference), i dont understand how you so called "limit" the amount of people coming, when there are already 160+ cars coming already...... Even though we were all more than willing to help out with the supplies and paying for your "parking fee" we had no wrong intent.... me and a group of si's are actually not attending this bbq because of this !!LUDACRIS!! attitude and rules that the moderators of this site justifiy.............

thanks for the input. with the attitude you just displayed in this post, i'm glad you're not coming. there was never a "limit" to cars allowed, it was stated that it's limited to "8thcivic.com members." i set this up as an "8thcivic meet" and that's just what it is. i'm sorry if you're feelings are hurt. and there is a "parking fee" because i have already PAID the park to hold this meet there. i need my money back.

and FYI, i started organizing this meet 4 months ago, long before i became a mod.

and on a personal note, thanks for responding to my phone calls about the exhaust.

Sorry you feel that way and obviously you have never met some of the great wonderful people on that list.

There are already non-8thgen civics coming to the meet so I don't know were you got that idea from about not letting non 8thcivics enter. The OP did not want this to be a Tuner/ Import Meet. It is 8thcivic and 8thcivics were the original intent. I believe the OP was very lenient on allowing non-8thcivic members and cars attend to what he wanted an 8thcivic meet exclusive. We have also enjoyed the company of others as well, so that is a two way street there. Sorry you guys don't want to attend as I have no control over that. I also want to specify the sarcasm in your "parking fee" comment not only pays for the use of the park, thats right, that park costs money due to the amount of cars that will be using the facility as a group. Extra proceeds will be a raffle from what I gather for 8thgen owners, being 8th gen sponsored parts will be there.

Again sorry you feel that way about the community, but I guess everyone can't be pleased.

Maybe not but say u bring 5 other Hondas and 30 out of the 150 people left bring 5 people now you have Honda Day which is not what this meet is about. It should never have been posted on any other sites to begin with.

We dont limit the amount of cars, we are limiting the TYPE of cars and who do you think picks up the trash, provides the land, supplies grilles and tables? The park. THEY are charging a fee, theres no reason why one person should pay it

That's the exact cocky import racer attitude that sends the warning flags up with the area 5-0, this kind of attitude makes a great well-organized meet go from fun and relaxed to agry and aggressive with in a matter of seconds. Although I can only judge words and not the nature of the tone related within the context of those words I can judge by the CAPSLOCK and "..." and !!! (indicates a shout). In addition to, your posting as an 8th Civic Member, therefore, you are indeed a member. Even though you sold your Si, you could have just brought the S2000. Furthermore, as stated by you
