that's a good question. the food is free and is being provided by 8thcivic members and friends. a group effort is needed to make this meet happen. if you can contribute something that'd be helpful, if not, don't worry about it.

WE JUST LOST 2 GRILLS. ONE MEMBER IS NO LONGER COMING AND ANOTHER CANNOT BRING THEIRS. WE NEED AT LEAST 2 MORE. THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN COOK FOR ALL OF THESE PEOPLE ON 3 GRILLS.

ALSO, WE STILL NEED MORE FOOD!!! IF YOU HAVE NOT VOLUNTEERED TO BRING ANYTHING, AND YOU ARE ABLE TO, PLEASE DO SO AND POST UP WHAT IT WILL BE SO I CAN HAVE AN ACCURATE COUNT>>>

There are a few rules that need to be followed during this meet:

-NO burn outs or unnecessary revving
-NO parking on the grass
-NO alcohol allowed at this meet
-NO speeding in and out of the park, please obey the signs

If you cannot follow these simple rules, I'm sure the local police will have no problem escorting you from the meet. I assure you I have no problem calling them. I will not allow someone's poor judgment and immaturity to jeopordize such a great meet location.

There will be a $2 parking fee per car. On your way in to the meet please stop at the booth and pay the attendant. PLEASE, PLEASE bring 2 SINGLES. The attendant will not be able to make change for everyone!

great thanks Paul...yeah, i have already decided that next years 8thcivicfest will be an "event." everything will be provided and price of admission will cover parking, food, and prizes. honestly i didn't expect such a large response to this one.

nothing planned at this point man. at the kickball rematch meet last year, we never got a chance to play. we just ran out of time. i will bring a kickball though if anyone wants to get a game or 2 going.

Qshooter151,

Im willing to Paypal you some money if someone has a membership to Costco, Sam's Club, etc. I could buy some burgers at my local supermarket, but where I live everything is expensive. Trust me. It makes more sense for me to just send money and have someone get the most they can for it at a wholesale store. Let me know.
