OEM HID's are legal or retrofitted OEM HID's. speed shop and flea market bulbs are not. read the package, it tells you that.

weird because i thought they said color headlights are illegal, so i don't care if it's OEM HID or retrofitted OEM HID, blue or white, it's still color headlight. that's one thing i don't gets about the person who made the law.

The law was made about ten years ago because it supposidy causes accidents to old people and their sensitive eyes(still no proof). Most cops don't care but some are bitches just to meet a quota or maybe they got blinded and want to pull everyone over.

TRue HID lights are white, people just "bend" the light to create the color and most of the color is only from the flicker. Mostly it just depends on the cop tho. I have no problems with my exhaust with 99% of the cops but theres always that one

well with the BMW's etc.. the light is actually pure white. if you look at the light on the ground in front of a BMW you will see pure white on the floor. The blue you see is usually just a slim section of the total light output. its happens because of the way the light bends when shining through the glass projector. So in reality BMW's etc. have white light...
