so you guys think i should make my own retro? i have no clue how to do that, maybe ethlar could give me a hand.
about 400 to do it?

is their any disadvantage to doing it on my own as opposed to customlightz.com?
will everything turn out pretty nice?

I think Ethan's turned out nice IMO and would have no problem rockin an E-Light set up He knows his stuff. I have no basis of comparison thought so I can't say how they compare, but theres nothing wrong with a DIY HID setup

I can help you with it if you want, the main thing thats the most time consuming is making and attaching the shrouds. It just takes a lot of patience.

btw guys, for my birthday my dad got me a huge sub and alpine amp (already had front and rear speakers). not quite sure on the particular models and everything yet, but sheeeet sounds good.

my only gripe is that the sub box is huge and i have virtually no trunk space left anymore. (being a hockey player, this is a huge problem because im constantly lugging around a hockey bag and goalie pads), so im gonna try and see if there are any alternatives to this, or if i can get a different sub to fit into the facory deck location.

the sub i got is enormous and has so much power. If i was to try to go for a smaller sub and put it in the factory location, can a sub that size still be pretty powerful?

the one year anniversary of my marriage to my si

Nice man, what a fun year, right? As far as the sub goes, I've got no idea on sound equipment. Maybe in the I.C.E., Electrical, Security and Navi section you can find your answer, or ask it to people who would know.
