what kind of ground though?

we installed the subs and amp...had power to the amp but the subs werent working...took the avic out to see if the rca cables were plugged in...and then when we plugged htem in and put the avic back..no power to the avic...there's only 2 grounds i know...the one the avic's got, and the one that we grounded the amp

Hmmm... I'd say unplug all that stereo stuff and disconnect the battery and reconnect.
I'm all about eliminating whatever I changed to see if it works.

SO I just gave Crack his exhaust...on the way back, we did a short run, 65 mph kick down..lol I ran 3rd and 4th thru 8600 and pulled ever so slowly on him...he started at 65 and stayed in 5th gear that bastard!!!!! lmao
