No one is spying on the NE or any of the other threads.

The problem with just posting the rules as a reminder in the original threads, especially for the NE thread is that it just moved so fast there was a chance people would miss it completely. Stirring things up like this as disruptive as it might be assures that a much larger majority of the users become aware of the rules.
