It is PERFECTLY feasible for someone to have a high post count and not 'whore' by your definition. They just need to post in a lot of threads with 'nice pics' or 'cool!'... get it? got it? good.

People do that day in and day out post after post after post... yet nothing is done about that. But when the SAME kinds of things are at least confined to a single thread... all of a sudden it becomes and issue? You cant even tell me that makes the least bit of sense.

I dont understand why whoring is allowed at all, personally. All it shows is who has the most time to waste. It completely ruins the idea that someone who has a good amount of rep and a decent amount of posts actually contributes to the site.

If they have large post count and not very much rep, you can ultimately assume that they dont contribute much, but have been around a while.

The entire post-count and rep system is fundamentally flawed in and of itself... not because its a bad system, but because people cannot handle that kind of 'responsibility'. If anything, the rep system should be limited to mods giving out rep where it is deserved... and post counts hidden.

Also, you imply that I said 'plenty of people post in that thread without breaking the rules'... when I did in fact, NOT say that. I said that im sure there are some people.
