NE Meet - October 12th/13th - Lebanon Valley Dragstrip, NY

I know this is terribly last minute, but a buddy of mine JUST showed me this, and I think it'd be fun to go see and have a mini meet-up for the NE crew.

Friday's show will be at 6pm and Saturday's event will be at 8:30pm.

"Pinks" is a show where two competitors race their cars against each other with the loser handing over the title of their car, or pink slip, to the winner. The show debuted in 2005 and is hosted by Rich Christensen.

Lebanon Valley is encouraging all fans to come out and be a part of the show as a fan in the stands for all the action. Who knows, you could see yourself on TV!

Now, I havent decided which day Im going to go, but I would like to make my decision based on the amount of people who can go to either day. The day with the most people is the one Ill go to. Maybe I'll do both if I can find somewhere to crash Friday night.

hey everyone lebanon valley says friday night , gates open at 3pm and speed channels website says the 13th , but doesn't give a start time. Me and b/f would def go on saturday as long as I can get out of work early

Im not sure what time Im gonna be heading out there, because I may be staying in Albany friday night with a buddy from college.

As for when the place opens. I have no idea. Im just going whenever this other guy says he wants to meet up.

I do know that they are filming the show on BOTH nights. Friday AND saturday

oh ok thanks for getting back to me, i guess i'll have to just call the drag strip and find out cuz i work usually 9-5 on saturdays and i'll have to decide what time i have to head out early from work to make it there in time. cuz pinks sometimes is a sweet show especially when theres drama saying someone is cheating it's kinda humorous. maybe we'll bump into you there

Yea, as it turns out, I won't be up in albany tonight. My buddy never got back to me.

Anyways, so I'll probably end up going right near Poughkeepsie (sp?) on my way up on saturday.

No idea where I'd want to meet or what time it opens. I know the filming isnt until like 8pm or something so I could come up earlier and have a LiL' mini meet or something in Po-town. I have nothing to do all day tomorrow.

According to google, going through po-town is out of my way, but I dont really care. I'd rather drive for 1.5 hrs then caravan for another 2hrs instead of driving 2.75hrs by myself.

my boyfriend and i will definately be up there but i'm not sure what time though cuz i don't know what time i'll be able to sneak outta work. but i know its way outta our way to meet up in whatever that town is i'm not going to bother spelling it cuz i'll butcher it. we usually either going through or on the outside of pittsfield. we go on route 20 part of the way to avoid tolls and its a senic route. hopefully i'll recongnize someone up there and we can meet up with you guys if you don't mind.
