Northern Virginia Honda Dealership

So I just bought my Si about 3 months ago and l just like everybody else I have been having problems with my 3rd gear (yeah shocking I know). So I brought it in today for it's oil change, have them check out 3rd gear, and to also get information on whether or not my ECU has had the factory reflash. Fast forward [b]8 hours later[b] I get a call from the service department. Guy tells me that they couldn't get the 3rd gear to act up so their not touching the tranny, the clutch or anything. Essentially I tell the guy that we'll finish talking when I get to the dealership. Ge to the dealership and the service manager tries to explain to me that if they can't get the problem to occur when they are driving the car then they aren't gonna touch the car. My only reply was well thank god we have warranties cause you won't touch the car regardless. So I left and while driving around I was messing with the odometer and I pulled up the oil life reading and of course they didn't even reset it. So note if you are in the Arlington area DO NOT use BROWN'S ARLINGTON HONDA.

So back to the point of this thread. Is there anyone in the NOVA area that can help me find a dealership that will actually help me get my 3rd gear looked at and also find out if my ECU has had the factory reflash. I know there are thousands of threads on 8thcivic.com about the 3rd gear but I am having serious problems getting this taken care of.

hmm... i would talk to udumkid (rene) he works down at the fairfax honda service dept.

obtw you should come to the richmond meet next sat!
