Post Possibly Moving to NY metro area next year...

..Well just like the title says. I left NY (Queens) when I was about 5 yrs old, and moved to FL with my mom after my parents got divorced. Throughout the years I've been back and forth between FL and NY to visiting my father and the rest of my family. Even though I've lived in FL most of my life, my dream was to be back in NY. Minus the shitty weather, and the congestion I love what NY has to offer, the people, the vibe, the yankees!, and of course the oppertunitty to make some $$ because wages suck down here, and other then the great weather there really is'nt much here...the Beach and all that shit gets played out, plus i always have a home down here. Im in my last year of college and will be graduating with my Finance degree next summer, and will be looking for work and living arrangements in the metro area, or Long Island thereafter. Currently im employed as a staff accountant at the Largest group of Harley Motorcycle dealerships in south east, and would like to move on to the Finance and Insurence side of the business. I would like to start by working for a Honda Dealership, doing F&I and eventually move on to Luxury auto Financing. My question to you people in NY and the surrounding area, is how does the automotive business fluctuate over there? Im guessing that Nov-Mar. is slow time for sales due to the cold and all that, and what is Largest Volume Honda Dealer in the area? I'll be living in Astoria Queens, with Family in the beginning and might end up in Whitestone or out in Long Island. I know with my degree i could land some pencil pushing analyst job in the city, but Id rather be working with numbers and what i love..Cars!..soo with all that said..if some of you are in the automotive sales/finance business, or know someone that is..what should i expect when dealing with the business in NY?
