so my lady's from Ohio and she's had this longing to see montauk since she's gotten out here, i've only been there once in my life when i was maybe 13 so its been a while. Today i finally got the chance to take her out there, now we're coming from hofstra (hempstead) to give you an idea of my route. Took meadowbrook for a short hop, then southern state all the way to robert mosses, then rt27 all the way to montauk, cutting through all the hamptons (south, east, bridge). Now i don't have a radar detector so i was taking it the speed limit most of the way b/c cops were def out (highest i got was round 80 maybe). Now i've drive mostly round nassau county/northern state and only road trip i've been have been up 95 to boston and i have to say that the drive to and from 'the end' was really something. Robert mosses was like taking 95, nice and open like an interstate. Around the hamptons sucked huge testes with traffic and the stop and go. And montauk was perfect, single lane going each way, nice and open reminded me alot of PCH in cali. But the winner of this event if by far Old Montauk Highway, this thing runs next to the dunes and the ocean winding back and forth over small hills

...all i can say was wow and if it wasn't so damn foggy i would have had alot more fun.
So for all you guys who live out east enjoy what you got b/c i def don't have anything like that cruising through garden city and mineola.
