Time is running out, and im REEEEEALLY starting to become hell-bent on going to the Dragon run. Although at the same time i wanna see more then just myself take a cruise down there. I see ohter members who are interested, but i wanted to make a roll call in the Northeast to see what were dealing with as far as a "turn out" before we have people commit

Just wanna see if people make phone calls down their for lodging and reservations made just yet. If you find info that is useful as far as updates on hotels vacancy, pricing, or even hotels a little out of the dragon. Please post them up to spare 1,000 members calling the same place. At this moment in time myself and Qshooter151 are in the process of hunting down hotels w/ openings.........DRAGON HERE WE COME!!!!

Well I checked out the availability at the Tapoco Lodge(where the meets being held) and there's only 3 economy rooms left. One is a full bed and the other two are double twins. These rooms share baths(mens & womens seperate) and have a small sink in each room for $75/night w/tax... I'm looking into a few other places that are pretty close by. I'll keep ya posted...

I wouldn't wait Kurt. If you reserve your room now where we're staying, and you end up not going or changing your mind, you won't be charged a dime as long as you cancel by 6pm the day you were scheduled to check in...Again, I wouldn't wait...

EDIT:the Tapoco lodge where the meet is being held is booked...

I'll be driving down with Michael bolton, I have a cabin with Nomar (santiago),cookstar & his nephew and John & his gf have a room already booked.

keep in mind at the lodge NO cell phones work... and the only internet access u have is the one supplied by the lodge

hey, i have been reading this... i am going to the meet down there too, from ohio... but tapaco is full.... if you guys are staying at any other hotels.. please let me know which 1 u will be at :-) trying to find at least some people from our group staying same place.

i have a room reserved at tapoco as well. i also took of wednesday to wednesday. i am leaving to go down on wednesday morning. i will probably make the trip down pretty direct, but coming back up i plan to venture off and have some fun since i have an extra few days.
