So I just talked with the guy that bought my car audio equipment and he received it today. UPS DESTROYED one of the subs. It's siezed. I mean they knocked the sub right out of the box. They ripped the f****** screws right out! I packed it extremely well too. I built a wood lid to fit over each speaker perfectly and secured them to the box before wrapping it. They must've really thrown that thing around...

No insurance. I put down the amount it's worth...The buyer is real calm about it. He's contacted MTX to see what they'll do. He has had good experiences with them in the past. He is also contacting UPS. He's gonna keep me posted...

Yes, the one we were talking about last weekend... Check out post #10 here: Our day at the dyno

Here's some pics. The first 2 the buyer just sent me. The others so you can see the subs and the box...

This is the wood cover I made to protect the speaker. It should not have touched the speaker. It sat 1/8" clear over the front of the speaker. One side is completely blown off...

I always imagine workers at ups etc.. just tossing packages like no tomorrow. The people who do the hard work rarely care about quality.

I just called my UPS rep and left a VM. I'll wait to hear back. I gave him the info he needs. I think I saw you say you wrote down the value when you shipped it???? ( I hope so) UPS will only cover 100 dollars if you didn't. I'll keep you posted
