So far so good!

Maybe you should get the red JDM "H" for the front emblem?

Think you can do a DYI or whatever. Those time attacks look sick and the painting looks perfect. I know I would never be able to make it look that good.

I don't really have a DIY but I think I could make one.

real quick
1. Sanded the finish off the wheels with 800 grit sandpaper
2. Since my tires were mounted, Ed and Mike told me about letting the air out and sticking cards between the rim and tire for overspray. I used construction paper
3.Painted 3 coats of primer
4. Using Rallye Red I sprayed the outer lip (in TypeX's pics)
5. let dry for one hour then use a hairdryer to completely dry
6. Got some 6mm tape from the body shop supply store and masked just the flat part of the lip all the way around and adding 1/2'' tape to keep the edge of the rim red as well
7. 3 coats of NBP
8. After drying remove the tape covering the red
9. 3 coats clearcoat

For the center caps, I bought some vinyl red H's from the flea market and put them on after the NBP then clearcoat

Very easy but also very time consuming....usually anything pretty nice looking is

One good thing about painting rims is you can fix any curb rash or chips like I had

Not for me.....I think it looks awkward on the grill of black cars IMO. I might be getting rid of the one in the back. I want to stealth everything out. lights, emblems, wheels.....
I'm thinking of trading my red rear for a stock one.....THINKING......lol

I believe Rick has the torque wrench as well as some high beam bulbs for Jordan and I never found the missing shock bolt....guess I have to hit the stealership tomorrow

Edit.....2 down, 2 to go

Here's a pic of the masking I did...the yellowish color is the 6mm tape I used because it's very easy to make bends with it and then 1/2 in to cover the gap

Paul what paints did you use? Honda paints, krylon, rustoleum, wheel paint. A list of everything you used from primer to clear woudl be greatly appreciated. Oh and that tape is it almost vinyl anh the kind of tape they use for pinstiping and suck?
