MA inspection read this!!!!!!!!!!!

Since my ecu had been reflashed I was flagged and now have to bring my car in to get visually inspected and make sure it passes and is back to stock. This is bull**** and can happen to anyone in MA so think about your modifications first. This means from now on I have to go back to stock everytime I need to get inspected. Im so pissed Im getting rid of this car and am picking up a 92 civic. Rage quitting

Yeah Flashpro was the reason I failed. They said that parameters on my ECU had been changed.

Damn they are no joke over there huh. I guess its too late now but you should just be able to return it to stock calibration for inspection.

The only thing the guy made me do was extend my 02 sensor to remove the check engine light because I don't have a cat but I also had to throw in a tip but I know by next year it will be so crazy that even with his help of passing me he won't be able to at this rate

Really? It doesn't make sense. I'm boosted and have had NO issues whatsoever in getting passed every year with FlashPro. Something doesn't sound right man.

What part of MA are you from?

I never had issues before either. The state guy said before they went primary o2 on check, check engine light off check, pass emissions. Then he said they got smart to computers changing things so modified cars can pass the computer so now they look for any changes to the ecu. I don't know why some are getting passed and now some are getting flagged. All I know is I have to put my stock header on for this inspection because I know he'll be looking for a cat. And I that means that what I wanted to do, put my blueprint cams in and fd2 pistons cannot run on a stock map when I get tested next year. I'm not about to do engine swaps every year just to pass emissions. If I owned or worked at a shop maybe I would so I could keep doing this but I do not. I mean if you are willing to change back to stock for emissions testings you'll be fine. You could have a header with a defouler, intake and exhaust that can run on the stock map and pass then flash your car with your tune after. I just wanted to do more to the car and it looks like I'd be happier with a k-swapped eg although I really love this car.

Put everything back to stock it's running fine then a check engine light comes on. My 02 sensor went bad. Just one issue after another.

Could you Swap out your ECU and set it aside and put in another ecu then use the FlashPro on that. Then when you need to go to get an inspection or dealer, ect ect just throw in your Factory ECU.

I just flashed a stock map and put it as much back to stock as possible. I should be fine now. Then swap it all back on after I've passed.
