I'm down to meet up and wash cars. I'm in westchester also (yonkers). I have never done it in anything less than 50 yet, LOL. I have a good idea though, i'm gonna wear little cotton gloves underneath surgical gloves. Hopefully that will prevent my hands from going numb.

lol that's not a bad idea.. But I always end up using the hose anyway.. Wether its to refill or jst powerwash the mitt to get all the gunk out.. I never use JUSt the 2 buckets.. I feel like the water is gettin too dirty and its not gonna do any good by dipping it in there, and i cant keep running back and forth inside to refill it in the tub.

.. It was well worth it, you shoulda seen my car this mornin! TIS BEAUTIFUL.

OMFG! You love your cars TOO MUCH! After you wash, do you give it a happy ending massage too?

you dont want to know how many times ive taken advantage of the unusually warm weather, its slightly disturbing, but the car is sooo pretty.....

im on my 6th wash and wax in the past two weeks, including 2 coats of wax on thursday. I also washed and waxed both of my parents cars since the weather was so nice. Im gonna try to get one more in before i go back up to school

I agree, near impossible to keep NHBP clean. It gets dirty within minutes of driving it.
Anyways, I had the hazing problem at first too. I would wash the car and then use quick detailing spray (qds) to get any water marks off, but then the qds would leave little streaks and be a little cloudy. I tried a couple of different things, before finally figuring out how to prevent this.
First, I spray a little bit of qds on one microfiber towel and go over the area I want to clean. Just a side note, I do this right after cleaning the car, so I don't use much spray. The car is really clean, so I don't worry about using lots of qsd...no need to. You aren't going to scratch it if there's nothing on the paint.
Second, I use a new (dry) microfiber towel to run over the spot I just used the first towel on. This picks up any excess residue the qds left (like streaks or cloudiness).

Can't garuntee it will work for you, but it works for me...Give it a shot...
