Honda Day at Raceway park in Englishtown,Saturday 8/12

I was curious if anyone from here is going to Honda day at Raceway Park in Englishtown. It should be a pretty fun day plus beautiful weather around 79 degrees with no humidity Also I think they are setting up an autocross for us to rip up for the day. We should have a nice little group there with fg2's. I know some guys from Club si and Temple of VTEC will be there.

I will say this, if your are going definitly pay the extra couple bucks as if you will be racing so that you can bring the car into the main areas and not leave them in the spectators are where they can be fondeled.

I'll be there down in the autocross area all day. Look for the Atomic Blue LX Coupe with the magnets on it and the baby seat in the back!

I am also an instructor at our regular autocrosses, so please, if anyone wants to learn how to drive better come see me and my colleagues with the NNJR-SCCA.

NEVER be ashamed to ask one of us questions while the cars are parked. Honestly, once we're in line before starting, it may not be a good idea to ask someone a question, but any other time is fine!

I'm one of the chief instructors for the NNJR-SCCA autocross program. I make it my "job" to help educate people as that is what I do professionally (I'm a high school teacher).

We'll also be at Raceway Park on August 19 and September 2 and then EVERY Saturday in October and the first 2 weeks of November!

If you have more pics, that would be wonderful! Thanks for the ones you took already!

Nice pics... Like Anthony said, we pride ourselves in helping others to not only learn more about autocross, but to also encourage others to come out and improve their driving and autocrossing skills. What you will find at every autocross is a group of individuals that will go above and beyond to accomodate and help newcomers to the sport. By all means, stop by.... better yet join us at the next autocross event. Anthony and the other instructors will even take you out in their personal car for a few runs.

i showed up late and thhey wouldnt let me race or show.. but i looked for you guys i stopped the habernero red guy that was draging and the silver one with the carbon hood.. talked to those guys.. and thats about it. i wanted to show.. i def would of won

1.) its 'would have' not 'would of'

2.) there were full on show cars there, i dont think a relatively stock civic would win

Boostedg35's car looks good. He may not have a full on show car but there were cars with less to them than he has. His car is definitely eye catching. Mine is included in that category or relatively stock and I still entered it. As did a few others. You have to start somewhere right?

1.) if you have seen my car you know its alot more then a relatively stock civic.
