WTF? a exhaust ticket is $875?!?!?!

maybe you can take pictures of other SI's stock ,then get part number and take a pic of teh part numbe ron your exhaust?
or get the DB measured? dont know if the ticket was for modified exhaust, or too loud of exhaust.

Hmmm...interesting.

The dealer should be able to provide you with some sort of documentation saying they had it inspected and it is indeed stock. Shouldn't cost you anything, just be extremely nice.

Call a local lawer and ask for advice, they should provide quick advice for free and/ or how to proceed.

Again, you shouldn't have to spend anything if it was indeed stock to prove it. Proof of inspection.

dude that sucks...i got pulled over for the same thing+tint in buffalo. and it was at night
do they seriously have nothing else to do other than pull people over for a loud exhaust when its stock and tints in the dark?
but fortunately i already had a pending tint ticket on record and i showed him the exhaust was stock so he didnt give me either ticket =)

On topic, I do think that our exhausts definitely have a tone and sound that might throw off some people. It still surprises me how the stock exhausts sounds quite good, especially on colder nights.
