MMC meaning Mid Model Change....from what we have heard, not much in the way of anything different....maybe a little different Headlight design....but nothing drastic.

Hoping for the USB adapter....

I picked up the only 08 Civic EX Manual transmission, NHBP in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area on Friday. To me, I got a very nice deal on it. I did it over the internet and had 9 quotes. When I went to pick it up, the salesman asked if I had gotten any other quotes. I told him I did, and there was one other that I was going to go with before this seller dropped another $300. He said, I thought so, we had 6 dealers ask for this Civic!!

Dunno if that was BS or not, but the other guy said he'd have to do a transfer and he couldn't go to the price I wanted to pay.

After I took delivery at the dealer, the salesman broke it down and said "you're the last one" that our bosses will deal with on Civics. They will now go at MSRP. He said Texas was already charging $3-500 OVER MSRP!

Again, who knows if it's BS or not. I'm just happy I got mine at a great price.

I bought mine May 17th, for $18,400 OTD/OTR ... they had 12 EXs, in Atomic Blue Metallic, 2 of which were 5-speeds. Now they have just 3 ABM EXs, of which 1 is a 5-speed, and only 1 is a couple (also, it's an automatic).

That's a drastic drop for 3 weeks!

I'll say, a few weeks ago when I was shopping around, some dealers hardly had any auto civics for me to test drive, let alone one in the configuration I wanted.

Thankfully my parents opened up to the idea of a stickshift when i learned to drive one.

for some reason, every single dealership I went to had a black SI base model on the lot.

We had to settle for an EX with Nav.

I called every dealer I can find online within' a 200 mile radius from San Diego for a White EX. One dealer had two white EXs, but of course they had NAV. The next shipment of a white EX was actually a local place, but that would be a month away AT LEAST. Also, San Diego can't touch LA pricing - even LA dealers telling me I could have saved a G or two if we bought a couple months ago. Hahaha.
