If U Bought An Si And Tried To Convert To Mugen It Would Def Cost More Than Just Buying The Mugen Si No Doubt About It

Like I said and I'll say it again, all this shit you install yourself won't be covered by dealer warranty. Sure, you can look almost exactly like the Mugen Si, but what you also don't have is the "Limited Edition #"[/quote]

Its cool that it wouldnt be covered by warranty. But does the hot blonde care if I have a Limited Edition #? I think not.

I saw a post saying the rear bumper was $800xx. Is that correct at your dealership too?

i might cost more to buy all "official" Mugen parts and upgrade. But you can spend less and get more power and better handling. Intake, Complete exhaust, reflash, springs, shocks, sway bar. will not cost you $8K to buy. I went to CorSport and priced upgraded brakes pads, brake rotors, rear sway bar, Fr. Tower Brace, Tokico shocks, eibach springs, Fr. & Rr. camber kit, Buddy club racking spec header, Gredd Evo2 exhaust, Injen intake, stronger clutch & flywheel. All for only $4K. tach on $600 for reflash, And for under $5K you can get close to 220HP+ FA5 that will out run and out handle a Mugen.

Yes i agee. I bought my si for me and not anyone else. Its annoying to see people who buy "Status Cars" and then drive them 5 below the speed limit so they can be "seen" in them.

I ussually draft behind them since they have that huge wing. I just put my nose under their wing and save gas.

as long as you install it correctly, i think everything will be ok.
since the mugen si parts is expensive, just let the expert handle the installation and you will have no problems.

for the first couple of months maybe people will pay attention to mugen si, but after that it will be like an ordinary si with full mugen kit.

in my opinion, its ok if we build our civic or csx to be like mugen si.
the owner will know that they dont own a mugen si but the own an ordinary civic or csx.
they can satisfied themself by upgrading or modifying their car to be better in both performance and look...

I will be totally honest. I am all about Honda. If I didnt already have an Si 4dr in that color, I probably would have bought it regardless of price. Unfortuantly I missed the Integra Type R boat due to age, lack of money, and little support from my parents who would have bought it but didnt see what was so special about it for more than a GS-R or Si. This car, to some people will more of a collectors item than anything else.

Screw the Mugen. Slap on the HFP suspension and your good to go. An extra 9k with no gain in HP, complete insanity.

BMW 135i or maybe a newer S2k? Hmmm....I have visions of importing the type R now. haha
