That actually makes sense and it's a great idea. By the way, I hate full leather seats. Too hot in the Summer and too cold in the Winter. My old SVT Focus had sport bucket cloth seats with leather side bolsters. That was excellent.

Does anyone have any idea what the LX-S and LX-P stand for on the Accords?

Interesting that the Si won't offer leather when the EX will, but it's clear that Honda couldn't just transfer the leather EX seats directly to the Si (seat bolstering). I really like the Si seats as they are now (other than being prone to wear), but I do love some heated leather. For comparison, how does the feel of the Si seats compare to the S2K? Are we missing out with no Si leather option?

Your not missing anything.....and the S2k Seats are a lot more stiiff than the Si seats.

Plus we can add Heated Leather to a 4dr Si for 1299 anyway....2 tone with the SI Emblems in red stiching....so you can always go aftermarket on the leather.

In the showroom of the dealership were I bought my car, they had a 4door civic ex with leather interior and civic stiched into the seats....the leather was nasty,it was almost like a vinyl plastic...the interior in the si is the nicest IMO...

Wait a minute...the Si can't get leather.

That's a crock of shit. I'm sorry, I expected at least the option for it (it should be standard on EX and Si models, much like fog lights).

Ugh, that really bugs me.

Kind of the same way I felt......should at least offer it as an option or add....if it cant come standard.

I'm just really bitter right now because I don't understand why people say "Dude, its just a Civic, it's never had leather before."

That argument is flawed on so many levels I can't begin to comprehend. This isn't 1979, this is 2007. The Civic never had a navigation unit before, and it does now. For me, if a car is high-class enough to get a stock OEM navigation system or satellite radio, it deserves at least a leather option.

The Si's fabric is crap. It's comfortable, but it fuzzes and is already showing a decent amount of wear in under a year with very light, considerate usage. It's also a pain in the ass to vacuum.

It'll be interesting to see how much leather will further up the price of the Civic, especially if it's standard when you get the nav.
