I think that is a fantastic deal, I can't even get dealers to put it below MSRP because they say they've never had any trouble selling Si's.

Chris
How about zero doc fee and split the hold back?

First dealership I went to the lowest I could get him was $21,313 and he told me they were losing money on it. LOL.

I got up and walked out, and told him I was going elsewhere. Mistake number one of a cars salesman-- letting a potential customer get away with a price quote.

Went to another dealership and told them the quote I was given to see if they could beat it. He came back with $21,000. I told him, you get it to $20,500 and we have a deal. The rest is history...

I would have liked to try and go lower, but on the Si... I think it's unrealistic to get lower then what I had them at. At least in this area anyways.

Spoke to Rosen Honda's (Gurnee, IL) Internet Sales people. They have a contract set up with my employer for discount purchase.

I told him I would be purchasing in the next 3 months, so he said he doesn't have 100% accurate pricing on the 08 Si Sedan yet. He estimated he could sell me an 08 FBP FA5 for $500-700 over Invoice (No Navi, No Summer Tires)

My only problem is that Gurnee is quite a ways from my house. Do you think I'd be able to get Schaumburg Honda to give me the same deal? It's alot closer, and I like competition between dealers :)

well, gurnee isn't that far in the scheme of things. i bought a nissan from rosen and drove from chicago.

i bought a car from schaumburg and will never go back again. they really are like "used car salesmen" even though i purchased a new car there. i have bought a honda from muller, castle...got my si under invoice in feb., and mcgrath city. i would like to buy from fletcher jones since it is right next to my work. but, they never get close to other dealers price on the same car.

Looks like I am going to have to look around. It seems there aren't many 07 Si Sedans left on the lots around the area, which is good. I am shooting to get an 08 Si Sedan in my color of choice (Fiji Blue).

I've been scoping out all of the dealer's websites as of right now and just about all I find is Black Sedans (bleh)...I'll look into Castle since you got a good deal there, were they pretty easy to work with? Do you know anyone there to get the special price, or can anyone off the street walk in and negotiate for your price?

Hey Chris, what do you think a good price for a 2007 CR-V EX 4WD or EX-L 4WD would be?

I really like the CR-V, and I'm trying to see what kind of prices I can expect a Honda dealer to be given me, given year end prices.
