Question

Just came from a dealer today, he said they're starting a 2.9% 36 month financing on civics for the next 10 days or so. Hope my credit score is good enough for the 2.9%! Came away with these numbers (no purchase, shopping still) for an 08 civic ex nav:

20,799
1,315.56 (6.25% tax should be 1299.94?)
275.50 (license / registration I think?)
===========
22,390.06
- ~3500 down
===========
18,890.06 financed

2.9% for 36 months:
$554/mo

3.9% for 60 months:
$352/mo

Obviously I'd take the 36 months, since I could afford the monthly and the 60 mo would be ~1176 more at the end of the term...

Is this a decent price? The only options are nav and splash guards. These prices are not final, and I'm not sure if he figured in destination and stuff yet.

08 Si Sedan Base in Habi Red
$1,345 Discount
+PA sales tax @6%
+$110 Tags

= $21,946 OTD
4.79 APR/60 months

Good deal, or can I do better? I generally assume it's a good deal if the OTD price after tax is the same or lower than the MSRP, but I wanted to check here anyway.

I'm also considering this one:
07 Si Sedan w/Navi in Silver
3,100 Miles
Honda Certified Used
$19,991 (advertised price)

Seems good, but can I get them down any?

Thanks for the help, this is a great resource.

I think I'm going with the base Si instead of the Mugen I was offered
$29789.28 OTD for mugen
$21590.82 OTD for Si

I think it's a pretty good deal

^ get them down to 21k OTD and call it a deal :) Tell them that President Bush has caused you to go bankrupt after the purchase and the extra $500+ will help pay for gas for a while

I've gotten a offer for a Honda Civic Si 4dr in white no navi or summer tires. he said 21245.00 included Destination and Handling(695.00). Then you still have tax, title, license. I still think that is a bit high just wondering what you guys think.

Not much of a Discount....but the drive out is what matters....

Get him to give you a full drive out price, then repost!

Decided to fly to dallas on a one way trip for $120.00 to buy my white honda civic si 08

Got a better deal than anyone could offer me here in SA, San Marcos Austin area.

21,560 OTD had 304 miles so i told them to throw in some window tint because of the mileage. I think its a good deal.

DO you think thats a good deal.

This is in NYC

Paragon Honda, 21,540 4dr tw si, I put a deposit so they can locate the car and bring it in.

I then took that receipt stating how much the car is and my trade in value to hillside Honda... first I tried to make a deal without bringing out a receipt for them to beat... I couldn’t get a deal, so I showed them the receipt asking them to beat it, and only by $100!?? And $1000 less on my trade in... They let me walk...

Its weird both dealers came up with this magical number of 22,900 (or something around that) while the sticker says 21,310....

So 21,540... I’m not locked in the deal.

Deal or No Deal?

Deal or No Deal?
Anyone who pays OVER MSRP or any dealer who Charges OVER MSRP is rediculous on an Si....

If you are talking Car Prices here....then please dont do it....drive-out is deffinatley a different story!
