Insurance....8th member comparisons:

The Idea of a fellow 8th member....here is where you can put stuff about Insurance quotes you guys are getting....

Keep in mind that you need to specify your ENTIRE situation for this to really help anyone....

Some things to include:

Exact Car
Family status (kids - no kids - just you - etc...)
Your Age
Tickets or whatever that might make yours different
The company you got it from
The state where you live

Post on....

Chris

Including discounts, coverages, and deductibles will make it more comparable. 25/50/25 with high deductibles, no uninsured motorist, and only liability will vary quite a bit from 100/300/75, uninsured coverage, low deductibles, comp and collision.

Some things that make mine higher. I live in the worst zip code in the state, I have a $500 deductable and have liability of $300,000.

Some discounts are my age, the fact that I have multiple car discounts and I get a discount cause I have my homeowners insurance wiht them also.

oops, forgot that, I'm with Mercury. I was surprised too, I came from an RSX auto and that was like 435 / 6 months. I get a faster car and my insurance goes down haha, gotta love sedans.

Tell me about it, I used to own a 91 civic si hb, I was paying 88/month liability. I then bought a 95 gsr sedan after I sold the hatch now I pay 66$/month full coverage. It makes no sense lol, but I am not complaining. I was quoted for a 2007 civic si sedan at 89$/month full coverage in Ohio.
