Price Quote Question 2007 SI cpe.

Hello, this is my first post here as I am about to get a 2007 Civic SI.
The model I want is 2dr Rallye Red with the Summer tires.

the msrp plus destination charge comes to:

$21885

the dealership also wants a "dealer fee" of:

$699

plus tax and $140 tag?

total comes to

$23973...do you feel this is a good price.

I am in the Orlando area and most other dealers have some sort of market adjustment. All the dealers say the car is in "very high" demand and wont really budge off MSRP. The problem I have is the dealer fee. I dont see any reason to pay $600 for them watching the car roll off the truck to the lot, but if every dealership has this then maybe I should just take the deal.

What do you think?

Thanks
Matt

I got a quote for 25,228 Out the Door for a White si Coupe with Navi.

If you dont have Navi then substract 2g from it then urs should be close to 23k, not 24k. So it a little high!!

well to me it still high, I don't give up until i get a deal that close to the Invoice.

so it sounds like most of the difference is made up by the dealer fee of $600 that my dealer charges.

I do live in Orlando and South Florida so the car I want...2dr HPT in Rally Red is pretty hard to come by.

I may just have to do it. Ill let you know what the other dealers price quote is on saturday.

Also, do most honda dealers charge a $600-$700 dealer fee?

Dealer fee? I don't remember seeing that when I bought mine. I would ask for an exact breakdown of what $600 includes. Maybe you can tell them to exclude some (or all) of the services that make up that amount?

Dealer fees are pretty much BS beyond the first $100. NJ (and other states) limits them to $200 or less and NJ isn't a cheap state to do business in.

Hey chris, could you please put that in a Dealer Format form and email to me AznMTboy@gmail.com, so that I can print it out and see if the dealer here can match it or something?

Thanks

These few days, I notice that each Dealer have their own MSRP price or something. because I notice your MSRP different, their MSRP is different, so as the Online one too.

So do these MSRP change over time?

the online MSRP shown at honda.com doesnt show the $595 destination fee charge.

His post and mine both include this because it is a charge you cant get around because honda charges it per car per dealer.
