can you list all the add on for the SI.

Last time i remember that the foglight is like 800buck and ipod link like 400. That just blow my mind.

When you upgrade the 18' rims it like 1500 something, doesnt it like substract alittle because you upgrade from the old one so the old one as least substract some amount right?

Thanks

One local Honda "stealership" charges $850 for foglights, no matter which car they're installed on and, get this, $200 for a $50 set of wheelocks ("but they've been installed....").

What is a fair price for the foglights on a civic sedan (Si) and the day/night mirror with compass, both parts and installation?

These are all installed prices:

Fog Lights: 444.00
WheelLocks: 69.00
Full HFP: 4218.00
Aero Kit: 1392.00
HFP Muffler 449.00
HFP 18" Rims/Tires: 1842.00
Auto Mirror: 320.00

And why buy an Ipod link when there is an aux jack that comes with the car??? especially since the musiclink for the civic is not built quite right (it BLOWS) to say the least.....

Are those mudguard things easy to install, if I have pratically zero tools/technical knowledge?

The dealership wants nearly the price of the actual mudguards to install them for me. If I could do it myself it would save me some dinero.

I wouldnt want to have to put them on, but go to honda-tech.net I think and they will tell you how to do it yourself

My question is if I pay the $XXX for the 17 or 18 inch wheels do I still keep my honda factory wheels or is that price reflective of trading them in?

Apparently no dealer around here can answer that....

You always want to keep your original rims / tires for when the weather is really bad or if there is ice on the groung or .....

There are a ton of reasons....so keep your rims and tires.....just for spare purposes....

It wont make any difference on the price of the add ons because they are yours....you paid for them and the dealer isnt going to give you any credit for them....but they will take them and keep them if you let them.

My god, how do you dealerships stay in business charging these kind of prices? $449 for a muffler? $320 for a mirror that plugs into an existing harness? HOLY F'IN CHRIST. But I guess people pay it so that's how you continue to do it. Primary reason I refuse to go anywhere near a dealer parts and service department.

/vent and sorry for the rant and thread hijack

If you can handle a screwdriver, you should be able to do it. But if like you say you have zero tools/technical knowledge, you'll likely just get frustrated trying to reach a few of the screws and remove the inner fender liner.
Please find a friend or family member to do or help you with it and don't pay anymore than ~80 for the guards, front and rear combined.
I'm good with tools, installed all four of mine, in 30 degree weather in about 10 minutes time.
