so corrrect me if i'm wrong but, the only year they didn't have the little lip spolier on every car was 06, so 07+ all had the lip and the first year they started making the taffy white was 08, so if all that works out, finding a trunk to swap with, to avoid filling and painting will be kinda hard.

now i've seen people just color match plugs and put those in any visible holes until either you get annoyed of the plugs and fix them or you sell the car and put the lip back on.

anyways welcome and hopefully you'll beat the shyness and come out to a meet.

btw taffy is the best color on the civics, don't let anyone tell you different

ahh, you just broke my heart right there with the info that taffy white didnt come out til 08.. now I have to do alot of work! (well, techically I dont have to to anything, I just have to pay someone else to do it, lol)

FAIL on Hondas part adding that spoiler (if you can call it that) and that chrome piece on the trunk. another FAIL!

And yes, I agree 100% on the color.. I traded in a black 07 for the '10 white. and I'm sooo happy with that choice.. you dont see the water marks, the swirl marks and its just an all around smokin color! ha!

and, one last thing, color match plugs? Ive never seen or heard of such a thing!

yah the guy at the dealer told me the lip is for fuel economy if that makes any sense. there is a few threads talking about buying just rubber plugs. getting the ends painted to match the car and plugging the holes till you decide what you want to do..

Thanks Janet I loved my black baby too. but when I seen the new bumpers on the 2010's I had to have it (some may ask, WHY not just buy the bumper? LOL, and I respond with "I cheaped out with the 07 and didnt get alot of stuff I wanted, so the bumber is just my excuse to get a new toy"
I kept her in the family tho, sold the first Civ to my sister
I def look forward to meeting everyone... I'm soooooooo happy summer is baaaaack!!!

front (left and right) shocks and rear (left and right) struts and springs. new hardware as well. drops it about .8 of an inch.

right on. Not sure what route I want to go with my suspension. Have you thought about proline springs and the hfp struts. would that give you the drop you want?

i have thought about that, but in the cost of buying springs, installing them it would be close to the price of getting a coilover kit and selling my hfp suspension, and having the ability in adjusting them to what ever i want and having the struts working with the springs.

Hey,
Thought I'd give a shout. I'm new the site.
wait, how long can I keep saying that for?

Some very nice cars on here...
No mods to my '08 Si Sedan as of yet...I just got the silly thing a few weeks ago.
Anyone change their horn? I am interested to see what is plug and play AND loud AND masculine to some degree. So, if you know...can you share your wealth of knowledge...please. I've read lots of threads on the topic but still a little inept...just a little, though.

I have no idea how to attach a pic, but here's my best attempt.

collegehills honda sells an accord horn that you just swap out. so look on there get the part number and check with the local dealer or junk yards.
ive been thinking about the same thing. but its not on the top of my list to dos.

I watched the install vid. on the CollegeHills site...I wasn't sure which horn they were installing, though, as there was nothing on video page that described the horn :/
This seems cheap to do.

I've dealt with the Elmsdale guy before and I was pleased...I may have to give him a ring once I know what I want.

Thanks for the help!

This is my 08 SI just got it a couple months ago. Had the AIT Body Kit, Vibrant exhaust and K&N Typhoon intake when I got it. Recently put a set of 5Zigen GN+ Pro racers, Carbon Fiber hood and a Skunk2 shift knob. Next mod will likely be a HFP Suspension or a set of coilovers to get a better stance. Pic sucks cause it's just from my phone.
