This was supposed to be released today, but i cant seem to find it anywhere. For all the lil wayne fans this record "leaked" all over the internet last year, and pushed the official release date back into 2008. The official version has a few non-leaked tracks, and was supposed to be release today.

Anyone know what's up?

Im a big lil wayne fan but i think its comin out later.. Look for the drought is over 5 cause that just came out wit new shit.

its always gonna get delayed..lol Stuff always gettin leaked. The drought is over 5 mixtape,get it theres a track with a 12 year old kid on it and lil wayne sample.

Just did a bit more searhcing seems like its coming out May 13th now. What a damn shame I have been waiting for this for a while now.....oh well whats one more month.

^^ wow, he's only 5'5? I knew he was kinda short, but damn! Anyways, yeah, this is starting to get old, how many times the cd's been pushed back. I've got an old mixtape of his that says "Carter 3: March 2007" lol!

But yeah, all those songs that leaked were put on a mixtapes of his, I believe its just called "The Leak". But he better hurry up and drop this CD before theres no new songs left

If you guys need a good CD to hold you over til C3 drops, go buy Sheek Louch's 'Silverback Gorilla', amazing CD!

Sporting the recently Forkcasted, awfully divisive first single "Lollipop", the sixth LP from Weezy F. Baby is the first full-length studio release from the nevertheless hyperprolific MC since the December 2005 release of Tha Carter II.

What info we've got isn't real long on details-- no proper tracklist, alas-- but Billboard.com recently confirmed that Kanye West, Lil' Mama, Hurricane Chris, Corey Gunz, Jibbs, Shanell, Kidd Kidd and Mack Maine have all recorded guest verses for the album, and producers Swizz Beatz, Alchemist, Cool & Dre, Deezle and Jim Jonsin (who produced "Lollipop") contribute tracks. And if Birdman's not on there even for a second, I will eat my hat.

Wayne, who's not letting his January arrest slow him down one bit, pops up on Bun B's forthcoming II Trill LP, as well as on newcomer Tyga's upcoming album No Introduction, which Wayne will release on his own Young Money Ent. label in conjunction with Pete Wentz's Decaydance label. (Tyga also appears on Tha Carter III.)

He also has a few U.S. tour dates on the way, the next of which goes down over the weekend in Philly.

I was anticipating the album almost a month ago.

A rep from Best Buy says in a couple weeks it should be released.

I got a hold of the leaked version last week. At first I couldn't stand it. Then I put it on my shuffle and did some yard work. After forcing myself to listen to each track I actually now have a few favorites.

"Tie My Hands" with Robin Thicke is a great song. Good vibe, has some actual material to it. Easily my favorite song on the album.

"Beat Build", "La La" both have nice beats.

"Nothing on Me" - Fabolous finally puts out a good verse. Juelz Santana does a good job. Just glad to hear new material from him in general. Hook is stupid, though.

"Dr. Carter" - interesting. Good lines. Nice take on the hip-hop state atm.

Rest of the cd is alright. I'd probably buy it to support him, and not just to be on the wagon. I'd give it a B- overall. Something I definately can listen to a few times over. Compared to alot of the other garbage being put out by artists' (in every genre) this CD is good. Most other CDs have maybe 2 songs that I like, so for this one to have 5 is doing pretty good.

My $.02.

FWIW, I don't listen to much rap, so I'm not a rap-fiend.
