Go cop his albums. "The Cool" is great. Good lyrics, good beats. "Food & Liquor" is decent, not as good as "The Cool" as an entire album but still good.

His stuff is pretty ok. The GF is a big fan of his, I like a few of his songs. IMO his sound is not uniqe/original enough to make me a big fan.

i had this album in my car since it was released almost ALL the time... when i get bored of it i switch it, but damn cd is good... LOVE IT!
cant wait for the next album

HMMM...not unique enough?...who would you compare him 2? who does he sound like? I think he's an awesome artist N "the cool" is one of many good songs on his CD

I'd say his beats are pretty comparable to Kanye's, but then again Kanye produces most of them anyways... but his flow and stories aren't really comparable to other more mainstream rappers, at least that I know of.

In that genra? I prefure K-OS over lupe. Check out K-OS's first alblum, exit. What I ment was that IMO his sound is not enough to draw me in. I have heard most of his first and second alblums, the GF always brings them in the car, I dont mind him, but I wouldnt buy a cd. Then again I am a huge fan of late 80's early 90's hip hop/rap so his style is a little different than my tastes.

Lil' Wayne is the same on every song. He gets played out easily. IMO.

True, his lyrics are meaningfull, however, he is not the first or only rapper to accomplish that.
