Resident Evil: Degeneration

The upcoming RE film will be the first animated one in the series. The trailer looks interesting IMO. I hope this movie turns out well.....all that comes to mind is the terrible Final Fantasy spirits within crap. I am a huge RE fan so we shall see.

I too am a huge RE fan, from the games to the movies. I picked up Extinction yesterday, and saw the trailer for the new animated movie. It looks good, but I am not a fan of animated movies. Would have been cool to just make a 4th live action movie IMO.

The Resident Evil movies pissed me off more than you could imagine. They just raped the story, which is actually a rather good one if you play them all.

The characters in the movie sucked, the acting sucked, and the script was subpar at best. I haven't seen the third because I haven't decided whether or not to exert energy to see it.

After Silent Hill and the three Resident Evil movies, I'm wondering whether they can make a game to movie adaptation that doesn't suck balls.

I am a RE fan as well (is anyone surprised?) and have not been particularly happy with the movies thus far. I'll wait and see on the animated one.

On a side note, however, I've been playing RE:Umbrella Chronicles on the Wii and am not terribly pleased with it at all. ARCADE is the best way to describe it. I need to get another Wii zapper for my son and we can run it together. Maybe that will be more fun. Otherwise its going on ebay. Blech.

My friends and I rented the Umbrella Chronicles and we played it for ten minutes before deciding it was not fun and possibly the worst Arcade shooter game we'd ever played.

Complete disappointment.
