Wasnt a bad movie, but I thought it would be better. I thought there was far too many gaps in tthe plot and I left the theatre thinking there were many un-answered questions.

Why was Neville not infected?
How did the girl get onto Manhattan?
What happened during the 3 years proir to the time frame of the movie?
Etc?

I would like to have seen more backstory of how Neville began his time alone and how the population slowly turned into the zombies.

I the context of this iteration of the movie, Neville was one of the 1% who were naturally immune to the infection (noted later in the movie when he is ranting at the girl: 90% mortality rate, 9% infected, 1% immune).

As opposed to Heston in the 'Omega Man' where he was working on a anti-virus which he injected himself with.

Wait, me and my friend have a question. He kept saying the zombie things were retarded and not smart.

The question is, did the zombie thing's set up Fred (I believe that was his name) to get Robert caught in a trap similar to the one he did on the girl? Or did Robert set that up him self and forget about the trap underneath?

Overall I really enjoyed the movie. A lot of action. I dint expect the ending, but too short in my opinion

I do have one question,
why dont the "zombies" eat eachother???

Those questions were answered. The virus was air borne so basically everyone in the world got infected. The only ppl immune to air borne virus were canines/1% immune people. The girl was in Vermont with 5 other immunes and they all ended up getting caught and eaten by zombie things. She drove to Manhattan when she heard Roberts broadcast. She was at the dock all day but Robert was so distressed and depressed about Sam that he forgot or just chose not to wait at the dock that day.

If you remember, Fred was at the CD store so I'm not sure what happened there

The zombie/vampires set the trap for Robert like the one Robert set for the zombies. Obviously, there was one zombie who was able to control the others and learn from experiences and he was the one who set the trap.

just saw this movie saturday night. Movie was good had some scary ass parts. (when his dog ran into the dark after the deer) But, overall it was good. The ending sucked though....shouldve continued to show what happened after the anti virus was found.

I think they said they were on a red cross boat, and will said "Those were supposed to be temporary" or something along those lines.
