Has everyone forgotten Highway to the Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins (Top Gun soundtrack)? That is THE song to get pumped for a drive.

Otherwise Los Lonely Boys, Santana, Green Day are very good. All have some faster and slower mixed together.

I listen to a lot of different stuff.

Heavy Stuff: Slayer - Entire Reign in Blood album is so good. I also am rediscovering Faith No More, the "AngelDust" album - check the song "Jizzlobber" - I'm not kidding either. Good stuff. Clutch's song "Wicker" gets me going too.

Electro: DJ Shadow, all albums

Rock/Alt: Sublime "2nd Hand Smoke" album sounds good with our little factory sub; Pearl Jam (Sittin' On the Dock of the Bay) , Modest Mouse (3rd Planet), RHCP's new songs "Wet Sand" and "Hump de Bump" also deserve mentions.

Rap: Del (d/l "Press Rewind" immediately.), Necro "Black Helicopters"

lol I just realized it doesn't look like anyone on here likes rap. I used to love it when I had my system because I like bass but that was about the extent of it. Now that I don't have my system hooked up I don't listen to it much.

That track "I Need Drugs" has some of the funniest lyrics of all time.

"When I come home from work, I'm fiendin' for an 8-ball, I got crack on my mind, hearin' cocaine call..."

Disclaimer: I'm not advocating hard drug use to those unfamiliar with this - it's a satire track.

I gotta say, I was a skeptic. But I borrowed the Snow Patrol CDs from my fiancee. Good stuff.

I've been enjoying the new Deftones album "Saturday Night Wrist".

I'm still also on my Mars Volta binge.
