I have really only heard of Rascal Flatts.
Blue October... I think I heard that song today...

San Jose's First Modified R18
iTrader: 0 / 0%
1. Field Mob feat. Ciara- They Say
2. R. Kelly feat. Sean Paul and Akon- Slow Wind Remix
3. Jagged Edge feat. John Legend- Seasons Change
4. Blackstreet- Before I Let You Go
5. Justin Timberlake- Why When How

Those just kinda popped in my head. Some new stuff, some old stuff; kinda random. If you can get it, I recommend Kanye West- Late Orchestration (concert recorded at Abbey Road). Can't go wrong with anything John Legend either.

Music

If you had to burn a cd as a "sound track" for a night of driving around in the civic what would be on it?

Ditto that. I like all kinds of music.
Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Van Hallen, Gratefull Dead, Tool, Seven Dust, Outkast, Widespread Panic, Kenny Chesney are just fraction of some great bands I've seen live.

You want an ultimate driving song? Pump out "Shut Me Up", by Mindless Self Indulgence, windows down, sunroof open. Sounds good on the Premium audio system, volume 22, AVC set to medium, all EQ settings in the middle, with maybe a little extra treble. This is a song that lets everyone know, you're ready to GO!

It depends on what mood I'm in. Am I driving fast? Slow? Is it night time, raining, on the expressway or a country road? I've got too many to name, but off the top of my head, here are a few:

Pearl Jam - Untitled (first song for any road trip...I don't care who you are!)
RHCP - Road Trippin
Cake - Shut the F*ck Up
Soul Coughing - Super Bon Bon (Portishead Remix)
Clipse ft. Pharrell - Hot Damn
Citizen Cope - Son's Gonna Rise
Dirty Vegas - Days Go By (either version)
A Tribe Called Quest - I Left My Wallet in El Segundo
Fugees - Ready or Not
DNTEL - Fear of Corners
Augustana - Boston
Green Day - Hitchin' a Ride
Incubus - Drive
Fat Lip - What's Up Fat Lip
Johnny Cash - I've Been Everywhere
Smashing Pumpkins - Today
The Crystal Method - Busy Child
Maroon 5 - Sunday Morning
The Eels - Mr. E's Beautiful Blues
Beck - Hell Yes
Wilco - How to Fight Lonliness
Fiona Apple - Fast as You Can
OutKast - Spottiodiedopalicious (someone check the spelling on that )
The Neptunes - Intro (if only this song was longer!!)
The Pharcyde - (She Keeps On) Passin Me By
Wise Guys - Start the Commotion
Granddaddy - Nature Anthem
Erick Sermon ft. Marvin Gaye - Music

And of course:
Yo La Tengo - Little Honda

But there are so many more than I can't think of since I'm away from all my CDs and *ahem*MP3s*ahem*...I'm leaving so many out!

Bump. 6spdChick, did you ever list your driving songs?

Check out MoZella. Her song "Can't Stop" pretty much owns me right now. Plus, she's !!
