Cloverfield (WARNING: SPOILERS INSIDE!)
Well, for those that have seen the trailer before Transformers, you know what I'm talking about. Maybe. It's the untitled 1-18-08 trailer shot entirely with hand held camcorders where some mass chaos ensues. YouTube keeps taking down leaked trailers, so if you haven't seen it, I won't ruin the suspense. Eventually, you'll see it.
There is now a Web site. It's already been updated once. So far, there are only some pictures. I'm sure this will continue to change as we get closer and closer to January 18. Official Site: CLOVERFIELD - 1-18-08 Trailer(s): 1st Trailer: Apple - Trailers - 01-18-08 Related Sites: Official: -- Slusho! – You Can’t Drink Just Six. Jamie and Teddy TAGRUATO CORP. T.I.D.O. Unofficial: Cloverfield - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Cloverfield (2008) Cloverfield Clues I await your comments. ![]() Edit: The Ethan Haas sites aren't official, so I've removed them from the first post. For some fun (but unrelated) sites, check them out. www.ethanhaaswasright.com - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum Last edited by CameronJr9; 12-20-2007 at 11:34 AM. |

"The movie is based on a Japanese/South Korean lab experiment gone wrong. The "monster" you heard in the teaser trailer is a DNA combination of a gorilla, bear, and lion and has the ability to change it's figure, size, and look with other unique surprises."

I swear.. I freaking hate apple and their dumbass quicktime player. It let me play the trailer once, but now it just goes green after about 2 seconds of the vid and just goes to audio.. and when you try to close it it just freezes.
I've never had this problem with any other player, just quicktime. I update, delete, reinstall, delete, reinstall, and it's still just garbage. /angry rant |

Okay, I've officially gone complete nerd in fascination with this movie.
There's been nothing but denial with the ethanhaaswasright site and the cloverfield movie, but there are a few things that make it seem otherwise. Such as: Both the 1-18-08 site and the ethanhaas site are registered through the same domain/programming site... w3.org Also, check out some source code similarities with other ethan haas sites... it just seems like it would have a lot to do with an apocolyptic movie: Quote:

Yeah, I checked that out a bit. What really interests me is this CTHULHU that everyone is speculating is what the movie could be based off of, combined with the ethan haas rants. It is a little odd that JJ Abrams had a character in the show Alias drink a Slusho in an episode, as well as the fact that one of the guys in the trailer are wearing a slusho shirt. When you go to the slusho website it tells a story about this mysterious ingredient from the bottom of the sea that must be kept cold.. wtf is that about? The slusho site remids of the episode of the simpsons when Homer found a japanese dish soap box with him on the cover. "Way to go, FishBulb." There are so many things tied into this it's insane, this has got to be the most cost efficient, and yet incredibly impressive ad campaign ever. I can't believe how many people are actually involved in trying to decipher as much as they possibly can with this movie/trailer. btw, bump for more people to geek out on this.. It will make me feel better about being a nerd. |
