I posted a question about this on another forum and got an answer, I thought maybe anyone here that cares might like to know also..



The sign on the fridge supposedly says "Your life has meaning." It was taken off of something in Austin, Tx and it looks exactly like it.. This whole movie thing is crazy, and addictive.

[edit] Matter of fact, you can see the G in the very bottom right corner of the paper, as well as the shape of the O and U next to LIFE.

Have you noticed when they are showing the Statue of Liberty head slide down the street, the back of the road sign on the right says "Dead Dead"?
Dont know if it has anything to do with anything. Just an observation.

I was looking at that too, but I couldn't figure out what the second word was.. I thought that it said "Daze" but it wasn't clear enough so I just didn't say anything.

(Now if you have read Revelations you know that Babylon is 'the great city that falls' which is supposed to be the world's business/sin hub...not NYC u say? lol)

NOW - I went back and searched ABZ 3293, tried everything. I tried history of the date 3/2/1993 and even 3/2/1893, and even 3293 BC and found this:

Scroll down to ABZ it is an abbreviation that has to to with a man named Rykle Borger who coincidentally wrote a book and was a leading researcher in guess what? BABYLONIAN LINGUAL DECIPHERING!!!(Assyriologist)

His book was called 'Assyrisch-babylonische Zeichenliste' (ABZ) Guess when it was friggin last published? '63... Anyone notice that it was 63 degrees in the news flash in the trailer? 63 degrees in NYC in Jan at midnight??? I think not.

At this point, I nearly shat myself, and began hunting deep into the world of translation of babylon scripts. I found out that AKM can also be Aleph-Kaph-Mem, lost link. Aleph-kaph-mem when googled led me to the definition 'Angel'...


Upon more searching for the 3293 part I found this:

-The Beast is synonomous with the Abyss (ABZ = Abyss also? prolly not but hey Ive been up a few extra hours now so sorry)

-People claim that someone could have drawn in the 'devilish' looking silhouette in the girls' hair, very true - but the hair thing is overdone so moving on...

Ken Tarallo, an fx specialist, is working on the JJ Abrams Cloverfield Project (now going by the moniker 1-18-08). Ken mentions on his forum that the official name will be announced at the San Diego Comic Con.

Well, there you have it. So, it looks like in two weeks we'll have an answer to that question. Maybe that will give us some insight as to what the hell this movie is about!

Yeah, he kind of made me feel a little bit better.

Crazy thing is, that was his first post and this is his first ARG. Well, it's my first ARG too but that's just a hell of a first post.

I can't figure out what the hell this Slusho thing has to do with anything. Abrams said "The Ethan Haas sites have nothing to do with our little film..." but he also hinted at there were other sites that people had not found yet. Every site that I check out (That's omfg teh new cloverfield site for sure!) has been registered within the past couple of days, automatically proving it to not be connected.

Frustrating to say the least.

[edit] I had read that JJ himself would be speaking at the comic con this year, but had no idea that the name of the movie would actually be released. It seems that wouldn't be a good idea in any way.. IDK if this is just a huge viral marketing campaign, or if this actually is an ARG (for marketing purposes), but either way the thing that makes this so interesting is the mystery behind it.

Something tells me that this will be another trick of some sort..

Divinus
Upon completing all five puzzles and watching all five videos, a sixth form of the sphere appears, as a tablet with greenery growing around it in contrast to the destroyed city behind it. Across the top of the tablet is the word 'Divinus'. It has an input for Name and Email, with a submit button that says 'Remind Me', citing the date of the 1st of August, referencing the fifth video which lists August 1st as an important date to meet back at the EHWR website. Presumably, entering one's email will prompt a reminder to revisit the site closer to the 1st, though the exact purpose of this is not yet known for sure. The date is also linked to another website http://parasitemovie.com/, which contains a clock counting down to August 1st and links to the official 1.18.08 website. This leads many to believe that the two are linked and that the films monster may be known as The Parasite.

In addition to the Divinus tablet, upon completing the puzzles, several other changes occur to the setting. There are now seven stars across the skyline— the leftmost, blue star still gives access to the automated email with hints, while the rightmost still brings up the alternate alphabet. The other five show the five videos seen after completing each puzzle, with the first white star on the left accessing the first video, the second accessing the second, etc.

Finally, a panel appears on the righthand side of the screen, with six panels, each bearing a reduced image of the sphere in its six forms. Clicking on a corresponding panel will take you to a puzzle or the Divinus tablet. This is for replay value only, and will not force you to complete all of the puzzles again to reach this point.
