its the only time they are looking out from the ferris wheel.

the very last scene before they turn the camera towards them self and say that the battery is about to die.

i just rented this movie, and i felt taht it was a lot more hype than anything, or maybe i just expect too much from it, i wouldn't watch it again.

Somewhere the director said it was a satellite falling from orbit. It has something to do with the monsters origin or awakening. He hinted it would be explained in a sequel

Go to cloverfieldclues.blogspot.com and read older posts. it explains EVERYTHING about the backstory and youll pretty much understand what that satellite if you read all of it haha. i was pretty obsessed with the movie before it came out
