I agree with the two monster theory. The Tail that destroys the Brooklyn Bridge, didn't look like the tail of the monster at the end of the movie. There were also several times where the scale/size of the monster was completely different. Leading to me to think that there are two monsters. I also read somewhere on the interwebs that the crashing object is a satellite that belongs to either TAGRUATO or SLUSHO! And thats what woke the creature/s up from the deep sea! More Viral Stuff -- <--yes you can click here to link to the website. you can flip the pictures on this page, there are three pictures that have notes on them. One is in Japanese and its a recipe for some chicken noodle dish! WTF! I work at a video game company, so I had our international department translate the recipe: Thank you very much for viewing. (We) will introduce (you) this week's delicious dish. Make sure to eat it chilled! skinned chicken breast cut in half 2 pieces soumen (japanese thin noodle) 10oz cresson sliced thin (really thin - I don't know the English, mince wouldn't be it) 1/2cup kabura (I belive it's a radish) thinly sliced (normal thin slice) 1/2cup shiitake 1/2cup chicken soup stock 1/3cup sake 2 table spoons sugar 1/2 tea spoon kaitei no mitsu (literal translation = honey from the bottom of the sea) a pinch mix in a small sauce pan - 1/3 cup water, chicken stock, sake, sugar. Bring to boil and cool it. Grill chicken breast meat for 8 mins each side and cool it. Boil Soumen for 3 mins and cool it in chilled water. Dress (around the noodle) Soumen with cresson, kabura and shiitake. Slice chicken thinly and place it on the soumen in a shape of a fan. Add Kaitei no Mitsu to the sauce freely (a lot) right before serving. Ike Ike, Oishi-Chef (Go Go, Delicious Chef) Sorry about the long post ![]() |

A lot of this was covered in the very first post. Not directly, but the pictures on 1-18-08.com have all been discussed at Cloverfield Clues. The original translation of the recipe it the only reason anyone knows anything about Tagruato. Please check "Clues" for any viral information. Dennis, the site admin is a very knowledgable guy. There are also lots of helpful comments thoughout his site.
Two monsters? I could see that, I guess. Edit: Also, for all the info on the viral campaign (in an abridged version), listen to Cloverfield Clues podcasts. I was a part of two of them. TalkShoe - Call - Cloverfield Clues Podcast |
