New band in Austin, TX

My little bro's band is blowing up. They are out of Austin, TX. I'm really proud of him as I've taught him a lot over the years and he is really putting it to use.
They just got added to Lollapalooza in Chicago. They've recently had record label folks (Capitol is one of them) fly out to Austin to hear them and start trying to initiate record contracts. After seeing the music swap thread I thought I'd post their sites.

Please check them out. You can listen to a lot of their tracks for free. And if you like them, please order a CD. You'll get to listen to them and get to know a band before they were famous like Amos

Here are their upcoming shows.

Way to go! I'll check them out. One of the guys at work had a meeting there last year and he said that there was music e v e r y w h e r e in Austin and it was pretty good. I have friends in Portland and Seattle who are into the music scene so I'll let 'em know in case they'd like to check out something new.

It looks like they're on tour but I'll try to check them out soon. Emo's is a good place, but I'm not sure if I'll make it to that show. For the record, live music in Austin RULES! I can't wait for ACL Festival coming in September and SXSW in March. I missed SXSW last year for the first time in about 5 years, it sucked. And this year I've got to get married the following month, so spending $150 on a wristband is prolly out of the question.... we'll see. I like the tracks on MySpace, though.

Dude they rock! I've driven down to Austin from Dallas to see them and they kill. Shows are always sold out and the crowd is always up for it. They play a lot in Austin so go check them out when you can!

Austin is a huge music city. So many great bands have come out of there. I'll be sure to give these guys a listen.

Edit: Okay, I'm listening to their stuff. This is great! I'm loving it. Where can I download/buy their stuff?

Here's a photo that made me laugh. I have no idea why.
