Minnesotans, next meet, Spring/Summer 2008...

Ok, we had a great turnout and a fantastic cruise. Many said they want to do this again soon. With life too short and with nice days so few in number, I say we meet again within the next month.

Date tentatively is Sunday, June 8th, 2008. Time could be either 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. Looks like many people are fine with Lake Normandale where we unofficially meet each time.

Scott said that there is a place to BBQ if people want to do so.

We need to find out who wants to bring food and if so, what will be brought:

2. ThePiper: steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, potato salad, ice cream, watermelon, pizza, pho, egg rolls, chips, tacos, tortillas, enchiladas, cake and cookies and beverages of choice.

Hey Bill, it's awesome you're setting up another one, we can always count on you to setting up these great meets!

1. I'm in for the 8th. I work on Saturdays so I simply just can't make it.

2. Normandale has become a familiar spot to me, I like the lake scenery.

3. Let's BBQ? Last time we ate at PF Changs, that was yummy too.

Let's make this a good meet guys and girls!

Ok Ann, we have you and Tom voting for Sunday. That's two. The only thing about Lake Normandale is that there really isn't a place to BBQ. We would have to just bring our own prepared food instead.

Another option would be to meet up at Lake Normandale, then go en masse to another spot. Thanks for the quick response.

what about up that road we took on the cruise. it was like 5 minutes up the road, there was a lake with a big parking lot overlooking the lake. I think i also saw a grill... don't take my word on it though

Either day is fine, but sunday would be cool since at work its slow so my coworker can be by himself without me taking a day off

any place is fine for me as long near the area/city

3. Would you prefer this time eating something rather than just talking and taking a cruise? I noticed that quite a few people were hungry when we got to the MOA.

If we choose a saturday or sunday, let's make it an extra weekend ahead incase it rains the first week.

btw, HondaFamilyMan should be exempted from the list , he's been to almost all of the past ones

I think Sunday would be best as most people don't work that day. I vote for a spot with a BBQ. We can even bring some chairs so we are not all standing around too.

I just put their names up because we missed them. I hope that all of them can come to the next meet we have. The more the merrier. This last meet was the best yet as we had the largest turnout ever.

Jon-HondaFamilyMan was out of town, so we know about him. I was just kind of curious what happened to the other people.

So far, it looks like Sunday. Lake Normandale doesn't really have a place to BBQ. I suggest we meet up at Lake Normandale, then go to another spot that has provisions to cook with a place to sit down and eat.

I love Boom Island Park and it is near my house, but there is limited parking.

I have a wedding on Sat. the 7th, but can do Sunday the 8th. I will wanna show off my new Rasky-special detail job.
