Dave, that Meguiar's NXT 2.0 is great stuff. Joshua did the Si earlier in March with it and the results were quite good.

I just spent close to 10 hours on Friday and Saturday polishing the G35. I went through almost 5 levels of polish to get the effects that I was looking for. The surface is almost a mirror finish now. Joshua and I glazed and glossed the paint. Now all we have to do is finish sealing, waxing and top coating and we are done. Whew.

We still need to finish waxing and sealing it first before we can drive it.

you guys are crazy....

I'll hit Victory Lane in Chaska before I come out. One hour and about $20 and she'll be about as clean as she's going to get.

Maybe I'll pay Rasky to do my car someday, but that's not terribly likely.

The G is staying home for now. Maybe we can bring it to a future meet with the nitrous hooked up.

Hey Bill/Josh I fried my backing plate on the FLEX yesterday. Not sure what happened but I was trying to get a scratch out and I had applied a decent amount of pressure and she went up in smoke. The unit is fine but some gasket on the backing plate is toast. I'll be making a call to get a replacement Monday. It sounded like some people were having issues with them.

Chad, really sorry to hear that. I was kind of anxious to see how it was working for you. I saw the thread you did on the Meguiar's forum about your girl's Honda Accord. It really took care of that big scratch.

What other issues are people having? Joshua and I were kind of looking at getting one.

On another note, Joshua and I did 5 levels of polishing on the G35. Then we used Meguiar's #7 glaze, Wolfgang deep gloss polish enhancer, 3 coats of Jet Seal sealant, 2 coats of Meguiar's carnauba wax and two coats of Mother's Reflection's Top Coat. The car is stunning to say the least. Never looked this good even when new. I must say that both of us are pretty wiped out though. My arms, hands, fingers and shoulders as well as my back are all sore, but it was worth the effort.

Hey, I had a great time as always. Sorry, all my pics were bad.

I had my mind set on getting vibrant exhaust, but after speaking with Tom...I don't know anymore. LOL J/K Bill.

Here you go guys. I'm sorry I didn't spend a lot of time on these shots, but I did try to make sure everyone's plates are unreadable. Enjoy.
