a few new '07's in toledo (left overs)

Hey guys Brown Honda In toledo has 3 new '07 civic's left over and im pretty sure they wanna deal on them, my buddy got quoted 19.5k out the door for an si sedan, two are the si sedans one is habi one is rallye red, the other is a silver ex coupe MT.

If i wanted a Si sedan i bet you could get a baller deal on one plus the EX who knows how low they will let that go.

I went up and looked tonight and damn I wanna go back for a test drive this week but I haven't got my finances quite where i want them to buy a new car right now so for now we will be a one civic household lol.

I live close by... I'd love the RR sedan (for my GF)... 19.5 OTD?! That's awesome. Unfortunately, I bet it was test driven to hell...

Either way some ohioan should probably jump on this!

Brown didn't want to deal with me at all last summer. I think the best they did was $400 less than sticker.

University in Bowling Green didn't even make me haggle them. $20k + TTL.

I hope Brown chokes on those Si's...

I used to think it was annoying on my mom's 2005 Chrysler, but it's not bad on the Honda Civic. I've only seen the light on once which was when I drove it from their big lot to the dealership. Nearly two months later and it still hasn't gone off yet. At least Honda didn't make it sensitive.

i just called and got quoted for 22,020 OTD! I let her know someone got quoted 19,500 and she seemed rather surprised, trying to tell me she paid 20,500 for the car. I'm not sure what sales rep gave him that quote but if you could find out that would be great

The one on our pilot comes on every other week, everytime the temp. drops, and is a real PITA. My Civic came on once when it got really cold, and I had the tires filled with nitrogen...havent had anymore false readings.

Told ya so. Brown is a joke.

If you are serious, call University Honda in Bowling Green. You can get an '08 for less than the price Brown wants for an '07.

I agree. I contacted University and they were really easy to work with (who wouldn't be when your buying a car from them lol) and nice. To their credit, they tried very hard to get me a black Si w/navi but it just wasn't happening. I ended up going to one of the 3 dealerships in the surrounding states to buy my Si/navi.

If you are going to buy from them, don't be in a hurry. Honda dealerships have to "earn" the right to order an Si. This is based on their sales. (this is why they couldn't order me an Si/navi). University is a small dealership and only gets allocated a couple (maybe 3) si's per order. This means you may have to wait a few weeks if you want to buy from them. I personally would rather have bought from them (I liked the price we settled on) but unfortunately they couldn't get what I want. My GF wants a Fit so we'd probably go to them for that.

Well theres that and that if you want to put on aftermarket wheels its a real bitch. The sensors wont work on every diffrent style of wheels and if you would need to pay for another set of sensors.

TPMS = More Expensive to get new rims

Get the 2007 and just buy a 99cents tire pressure measure from walmart and check your tires every other week. Save a couple hundred bucks on each rim you buy.

since this thread has turned into a TPMS discussion, ill add my $0.02...
i have an 08 fit...comes with TPMS. i put on my works and i get the damn TPMS light on the dash.....by no suprise, there is no way to turn it off. and the honda TPMS system can only be matched to 1 set of sensors, so even if i did get another set of sensors to put in these wheels, i would have to go to honda every spring and fall when i swap wheels to get teh new ones calibrated to the car.

ill deal with the light on the dash. lol

Bought 2 cars from brown but I also know the VP so that helps

they are replacing the bumper on my civic since the dealer they got it from put a screw though it.
