??????? has anyone had problems with the skunk2 70mm exhaust? I just put it on and it sounds dope but i heard it may be illegal.

when i asked a police officer about exhaust he said that any exhaust that is not stock or puts out any more DB's than stock in IL is illegal. but honestly what i think it boils down to is if your exhaust is super loud or not, and if the cop feels like messing with you.

that sux.... what about harleys or diesel pickups? Thank god it came with a silencer. Still sounds better then the oem exhaust. If DB sound apply to my civic it should apply to all road vehicles

yea if only it were that fair. i think exhaust is usually just a "add-on" kinda thing. like if they pull u over for driving over the speed lmit, they might be like "oh btw heres a ticket for ur exhaust too"

i had exhausts on my cars prior to this (my new car is 100& stock)and never had a cop hassle me, but i don't drive aggressive at all.
