i just saw a clean, shiny red rx-8 today driven by a very old man....but damn did i wish i had that paint instead of this shitty honda paint.

I think everyone has a problem with their paint. Honda people say they hate theirs, nissan people say they have the cheapest paint, etc. I looked at RX-8s, but those things are same speed as an Si. 240hp at the crank, but about 175whp. Not impressive for the price IMO.

Gearing, weight, aerodynamics, drivetrain layout (FF, MR, RR, AWD, etc)

A charter bus weighs well over 10,000 lbs as well.

Did you look at gas prices and the fuel economy of that RX-8? They have a pretty piss poor MPG rating.

yeah! i know a guy with an 07 RX-8 and he commutes 80 miles round trip a day for work! sucks to be him!

I know..I'm just saying, Weight does have an effect on the hp. Like ray said, you lose more power in the RWD cars cause of the drive train..Well 1,000hp moving a 10,000lb bus i would guess that your going to lose some hp
