i mean okay, but what are your ideas... lol there are lots of good places around here, we could always just do a meet in downtown wyandotte, and go to the local coffee shop, i dont know what you would all like to do... bbq was fun last year.

we should meet more towards one of Michigan's major two cities. Grand Rapids or Detroit, rather than on the outskirts.

Detroit would probably draw some of the Canadian crowd.

IM near ohio border......about 30 min from detroit.I dont really know any SAFE places in detroit....lol

I know 1 good place downriver in lincoln park it close to freeways and has alot of food places nearby, southfeild and dix in the sears/big boy parking lot, its a busy intersection to it could bring alot of attention.

Just a thought.......I used to live near there.

good idea, not a very safe area, but we could give it a shot, there is also a k mart parking lot where they regularly have classic car meets in southgate, i can call them and ask... its a little safer area, plus that part of fort street is busy and safer

i dont think it would be to safe in detroit, even tho it is a major city. i live in grand rapids. so im about 3 hours away from there. i hope is sum where near me. but it this only for 8th civic or is everyone invited?

I was giving the sears parking lot because of location to all freeways(94,75,southfeild frwy)But oh well i dont care where it is i will be there regardless.

Someone just pick a mall parking lot for christssake. Great Lakes Crossing, Rivertown, yada yada.

It'll be the easiest to find, close to a major highway and in a major town. I'm not going to drive around looking for some random sears parking lot.

Mall lots are going to be safer too, well lit and well traveled. I do love however, how people NOT from Detroit are so terrified of it. That's why my piece is in my center console. I'm a little guy, but I'm far from "afraid" of having a car meet with 15 people during the day. It's not Baghdad.
