OK, due to a popular suggestion on the "spotted thread of illinois", the subject of Joy Yee's came up. Pan-Asian Cuisine, amazing food, fruit drinks and bubble teas.
Lets frickin do this. Lets have a meet, then eat, then cruise?

Mike (BAR296) mentioned that the Evanston Joy Yee's has lots of street parking, and a parking garage about a block away were we could actually meet/photoshoot.

yes we were talking and it would be fun for one more meet. Im sure most people are in school so weekend should be good. And ray there is always the ill state beach or that one place we went for your bday. Anyone interested in doing it one more time should throw up some ideas.

yes those are also good suggestions, Ill beach state park is a beautiful location, and the other place you're referring to would be the Gurnee Park district off washington & almond. there are grills there, and also basketball and tennis courts!

gurnee would be a great location. easy access for both states off the 94




this would be a great way to cap off the season. something for those who missed some this year as well as a lil extra for those who crave one more meet before next year

i actually can't do this sat (9/15) till after 4pm. i have to go into work, ain't that a bitch! Then sunday i'm free noon.

even if its not al all-out meet, i'm always down to meet people and cruise around or whatever.

this weekend, the 15&16 wont work for me. Work til 3 on saturday and then took off for sunday for IW at Great Lakes Dragaway. (ray you should come too!!!!). actually anyone else wanting to go should too! How about the 22nd?

Does anyone else plan on racing at GLD if we go? or just me? I'd have to scrounge together $37 to do that, which i'm sure i can do.

I also have to clear it with my parents.

I have some friends that are running there cars in the Quick 16(12.99 or faster). I will not be running. Ray, just come watch, it'll be fun. Then maybewe can go on Tuesday. You know im down if im not working.
