You can go to iron pony. For the autoX if you don't have one then you can borrow one if you need to. Thats what i do when i run. i'm am going on sunday just to check out the comp.

I got the helmet! Thanks to Racerx's advice about IronPony

Now, I just need to wake up early enough tomorrow <lol> and get to Cooper in time and...

Oh.. and the electrical tape (or something sticky) to make numbers.

No problem on the helmet. As far as tape. Get painters masking tape. thats what i use, it goes on and off nicely without leaving residue.

Sweet experience! Got to run five times during a nicest day!

Ok, I totally sucked in the first run But little by little I was getting better with every new run. The good thing - no hit cones, no DNF, not once <lol>. The bad thing - I got placed in STX class, all because of my SRI (like it makes difference), so the result - last in the class. Other cars were two or three WRX and one older Eclipse (but with some work on it). One word - stock tires, that's what kills you, I need an upgrade bad :)
In comparison with other newcomers (not in my class), I didn't look too bad: just 1-2 sec behind a WRX and 1-2 sec ahead or behind a FA5 (depending on a driver, it had two). Those novices were with couple events of previous experience.

You should try it too, it is FUN!
