Michigan Meet

Anyone want to have some sort of meet, or even a road rally somewhere in Michigan? I am from the Detroit area... not Detroit... the burbs; Anyway, I am a student at Eastern Michigan, and want to get something together for this summer, anyone interested? It would be sweet to have like a crap load of 06-07 Civics take over a small city, have all the hotel rooms taken and all the parking spots cluttered with us Civic drivers!

You may want to scope this thread out. I know it's a little way away (time wise), but worth it.

It's a great group of people, and plenty of fun to be had by all.

yes xceed speed bbq. im gonna be in the caravan from goin from Ann Arbor to the bbq feel free to join.

My buddy Dave and his EBP '00 Si with a JRSC is going to be a part of that caravan!

I'm not going to lie, I am thinking about transfering down to Michigan State or University of Michigan next semester, I'm not really happy at Minnesota, though I love the area and the school.

A bit worried though: Ive not seen much of a Civic community there.

well i will see you there redink. i used to have a 2000 EBP Civic Si before it got stolen. i love that color wish they had it for the new si. since the didnt i got a 2007 Civic Si coupe in NBP. its gonna have a carbon fiber hood since my friend's sister backed into my car and screwed up the hood.

Ah, it's hit and miss. You'll see your fair share of rice around here, that's for sure. But there are a few nice Civics around here.

Buddy of mine has a 2000 JRSC EBP Si, another one has a 1999 turbo'd Si, I think he's going for the 11's in the 1/4. And I used to have a '99 JRSC'd Si fully tuned and everything. But then some asshat stole it. So I rock a new Si for now. Mods are in the planning stages.

You can scope out www.xceedspeed.com as a decent site for decent MI rides of all makes.

yup mine got stolen too. Stolen 2000 si ftl. but getting a new civic si ftw. i got a new one now. love it.

ya if you post on xceed like pics and stuff. be prepared to be flamed because flaming some one xceedspeed is like something that is required for some people no matter how clean your car is. but ya its a great site for meets and shit.

Also I am planning another meet besides the exceed meet for 8thgen later next month on a sat or sunday... let me know if anyone is interested... either in wyandotte or southgate somewhere!

Make sure you guys get mall clearance before you go: We weren't in the parking lot at the Mall of America for more than 5 minutes before they nailed us.
