spotted just now, a TW FA5 on Cty Rd 10 in Waconia.

You really need a wash, whoever you are.

Yep. The work is supposed to be completed by the 21st. They said there might be delays since the parts may take longer to locate as they are being produced for a current production model!? sounds like BS to me, but w/e.

The other driver's insurance still hasn't claimed liability, so this may end up costing me my deductible or going to court... lol, in which case I will win... my sister is a lawyer, and the other driver admitted fault to me and the police officer. My Ins. co. rep said there was no frame damage, just fender, hood, bumper, impact beam, steering wheel airbag and radiator replacement... plus a new paint job. which is all good, because I would get rid of it if there was frame damage... just a "fender bender," I guess. They are going to reuse my foglights and HFP lip kit which needs some "repair." I wanted to take the car to Rasky's Dad over at the EP Lamettry's, but they already had my car apart so I said eff-it, they gauranteed "like new" quality. Rasky is going to help me inspect it once the work is done.

I'm going to the shop this week to salvage my retro parts, and will hopefully have a new set installed by Feb. w00t! I couldn't imagine driving that car without the retros.

How's everything going with you guys?

EDIT: just noticed it's probably time to change my avatar. lol.

No, but that's a good idea... put a little motivation in them, lol. Actually, I have had little to no information from them... no clue what they are doing, which is why I'm just going to drop by and check on the car and grab my retro parts.

Yeah it probably wouldn't hurt to mention that you are having the body shop you wanted to fix it check it out. Or at least a friend of your that works at a high end body shop.

On a side not Abra does do some decent work....at least it's not Macco.

haha, maaco was my fear actually. I'm just hoping they do a good job. I've already set the tone that I wasn't happy about not sending it where I wanted, but I will follow up and drop the hint. I expect perfection, damn it!

You deserve to have you car look like it was new, not repaired. Any signs of repair are unacceptable!
