No offense intended Liu. Just a comment that the guy's Si smelled like it was cat-less. BTW, my understanding is that you make more power with a HFC than without a cat.

Not quite, from what I've heard, you gain more torque with a HFC but lose some HP. It's like 5 and 5 each way so it's not a huge difference.

At this point, I'll take whatever torque I can get, plus make my car sniff test legal.

And I'm doing pretty good Scott, waiting on Customlightz to finish my retro.

I looked over and at that moment this jerk floors his car, goes flying away, and in order to get away from us, passes a guy and nearly runs him off the road. Shady Oak Rd. goes from 2 lanes to 1 so he aced this poor guy out. The guy just plain drove unsafely.

I caught up to him at the next light. Again, he floored it away w/o even looking over. I should have played with him I guess, but I had to turn right and go on 212. Oh, would I ever love to meet this guy when I am driving my G35!
Should of flicked him off lolz. Tom's horn would of came in handy lool.

Dave, I would have given anything to have had Tom's horn. I would have loved to have had this guy go right through the roof of his car.

I saw a RR FG2 coming out of Cub foods in Shakopee this afternoon. Guy lookded pretty young, and was wearing a hat. I didn't wave because I was in my girls MDX. I was kind and let him merge in front of me. Looked stock, but he had a Si licence plate frame...kinda like Bills. Oh, and bill, could you PM me that link for that frame? Thanks.

No problem Scott. http://1licenseplates.com/plateholders.html
http://1licenseplates.com/hondaframes.html

Make sure to get a notched frame because of our license tabs. You can also customize them more. I just got the basic Si in red.

I've seen him before! I met him at Eden Prairie Cub foods. I tried talking to him, but he was not very friendly.

I have the RT HFC (AJP Version) and I can testify that you gain a lot more low end torque vs race header. I did not notice any difference vs the race header on the top end though. The exhaust is less raspy and more refined now too.

Wait, you have both Race header and HFC in right? What I"m saying I'm going to do is weld a HFC into my current setup, which right now is just Race Header and straight back exhaust.

The guy who bought the Mugen at Hopkins Honda sure didn't care that it sat outside for 3 weeks. Hopkins Honda treated the car like it was a normal Civic.

That's good, can't wait to see them! Seems everyones getting retro's done. It's like damn, that's a lot of bread! Maybe I'll get the retro after I get the SC. Or it could all be a dream.
